I must admit, spending $60 on a shave and haircut (as it costs in the Lower East Side locale) is a tad ridiculous. However, the real genius of this place is that it truly offers an outlet for men not still in existence. There a few places where a man can get his melon taken good care of, while having intelligent conversation, reading good magazines, and listening to NPR. Even though the hair world has been taken over by Supercuts, getting a good coiff is still one of the great pleasures in life.
